Dear Researchers,
we would like to inform you that the reading room of the Security Services Archive, located at Na Struze 229/3, Prague 1, will be closed for a longer period than usual during this summer.
Due to operational reasons (the delivery and installation of a new passenger elevator), the reading room will be closed from 15 June 2026 to 4 September 2026.
During this three‑month period, responses to your research inquiries will provide information only about the archival materials and the records relating to them. Archival materials will not be automatically prepared for consultation. If you wish to have materials prepared for study, please contact the staff member handling your request by email from the beginning of September 2026.
While the Na Struze reading room is closed, you may use our second reading room in Brno‑Kanice. If you would like archival materials to be prepared there, please indicate this in your research request.
The eBadatelna application will remain available throughout this period: https://ebadatelna.cz/
Thank you for your understanding, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.
